Miles de personas se han congregado este viernes en Washington para celebrar el 57 aniversario del discurso 'Tengo un sueño' que pronunció Martin Luther King Jr. Una marcha que coincide con las reivindicaciones en Estados Unidos contra la brutalidad policial contra los afroamericanos.

Uno de los mensajes más vistos en las camisetas de los asistentes ha sido precisamente "Black Lives Matter" y carteles con la imagen de George Floyd, el afroamericano que murió a finales de mayo en Minneapolis asfixiado por un agente de policía. De hecho, el lema de la marcha es 'Quítanos la rodilla del cuello", como referencia a la forma en la que el policía acabó con la vida de Floyd. Otros mensajes que se han podido ver clamaban por "no a un Estado policial" y contra el presidente de EEUU, Donald Trump.

Al igual que en la marcha en la que intervino Luther King Jr., líderes y activistas se dirigieron al público, varios de ellos de la comunidad hispana que intercalaron en sus discursos frases en español como 'Tu lucha es mi lucha' o 'Sí se puede'.
