Cientos de británicos acudieron ayer a la playa de Brighton, a solo una hora en tren desde Londres, ante los 33ºC que marcaban los termómetros en Reino Unido. A lo largo del día se pudo ver la playa abarrotada de bañistas, colas en el paseo marítimo para comprar bebidas y varias personas disfrutando en el mar. El Gobierno británico ha cambiado las reglas de distancia social y ahora permite que los ciudadanos sólo guarden un metro en vez de dos.

Por ahora, Reino Unido tendrá que esperar hasta el 4 de julio para abrir sus pubs, galerías y cines. No será hasta el 6 de julio cuando el Gobierno de Boris Johnson permita a sus ciudadanos para viajar a España, Francia o Italia. También plantea introducir un nuevo sistema de alerta que sustituya a la cuarenta obligatoria a viajeros que entren a las islas.
